Job Description

We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join Beacon Pointe Advisors as a Senior Client Service Associate in our Los Angeles, CA office. This Senior Client Service Associate role incorporates both Client Service and Operations functions. You will join a highly talented team of wealth management professionals that service the investment management and financial planning needs of high-net-worth individuals, families and institutions. A successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of both educational and professional achievement; with a commitment and passion for delivering exceptional service to the firm’s clients and associates.

Responsibilities

  • Research complex client and associate inquiries, responding to client requests via phone, email and/or other contact methods
  • Maintain and update client files utilizing internal systems including CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) and portfolio management databases (Tamarac AdvisorView)
  • Manages and monitors all new account openings, transfers of assets into new accounts, money movement, trading, etc. in CRM
  • Monitors daily custodial alerts including cash management, account updates, trading, etc. and resolves accordingly
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on complex operations processes with the aptitude to identify, understand and communicate core operational needs
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with centralized operations team on projects and/or initiatives designed to streamline firm policies and procedures
  • Meets regularly with Associate Wealth Advisors and Advisors to prioritize workload, provides timely updates on client service items and escalates potential issues when appropriate
  • Assists with preparation of meeting presentation materials, documents meeting follow-up and takes ownership of specific operational related tasks

 

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree (Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Economics preferred)
  • 3+ years of relevant experience working within client services and/or operations; preferably with a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), investment management firm or broker/dealer
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of client service and operational processes
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to detail with excellent organization, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving work environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and/or Tamarac AdvisorView preferred
  • Experience with Charles Schwab and/or Fidelity institutional platforms and paperwork preferred
