Beacon Pointe is currently seeking an exceptional individual to join our Firm Operations team as a Senior Operations Associate. As a Senior Associate for Beacon Pointe, you will be responsible for the firm-wide administration, onboarding, maintenance, and optimization of custodian relationships and platform integrations. This role serves as operational liaison between the firm and its custodial partners, ensuring seamless onboarding of new custodians, accurate recordkeeping, efficient servicing processes, and strong relationship management. The position plays a critical role in supporting advisors, operations teams, and strategic growth initiatives by maintaining operational excellence across all custodial platforms.

Responsibilities

Custodian Onboarding & Platform Management

  • Lead the operational onboarding, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of custodian relationships across the firm's platform
  • Coordinate custodian due diligence, documentation collection, approval workflows, and implementation timelines.
  • Partner with custodians, technology, compliance, and internal stakeholders to facilitate successful integrations.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance standardized onboarding procedures, checklists, and documentation.

Custodian Relationship Management

  • Oversee ongoing custodian administration, including maintenance of service agreements, operational contacts, platform permissions, and support processes.
  • Coordinate escalation management and operational feedback discussions.
  • Stay informed of custodian platform enhancements, policy updates, and operational changes.

Recordkeeping & Documentation

  • Maintain comprehensive records of custodian contracts, agreements, pricing schedules, and service documentation.
  • Ensure accurate and organized recordkeeping related to custodian onboarding, servicing activities, and relationship management.

Project Management & Process Improvement

  • Lead cross-functional projects related to custodian onboarding, conversions, integrations, and platform changes, coordinating communication and execution across custodians, local offices, and internal teams.
  • Create and maintain operational procedures, service guides, and training materials.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives to support firm growth, advisor experience, and operational scalability.
  • Use project management tools to monitor custodian-related projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required (Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Economics preferred).
  • This is a specialist position and requires:
    • 2+ years of relevant experience with a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), investment management firm or broker/dealer.
    • Multi-custodial experience (Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing institutional platforms at a minimum), set-up of custodial relationships preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written skills.
  • Strong commitment to detail with excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, etc.).
