Job Description
Beacon Pointe Advisors is seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor to join our growing team in Charleston/Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in wealth management while gaining experience in financial planning, investment management, client relationships, and business development. You will work alongside experienced Senior Wealth Advisors serving high-net-worth individuals and families, with direct mentorship and increasing responsibility as you grow in the role.

This is a fully in-person position in our Charleston/Mount Pleasant office.
Responsibilities
As an Associate Wealth Advisor, you will:
- Support Senior Wealth Advisors in delivering thoughtful, personalized advice and an exceptional client experience.
- Have the opportunity to participate in client meetings and assist with financial planning, investment management, and implementation of client strategies.
- Build trusted client relationships through responsive and professional communication.
- Develop a deeper understanding of portfolio construction, investment strategy, risk management, and tax-aware financial planning.
- Coordinate the investment and implementation process for new and existing client accounts, working with internal teams and outside investment managers as needed.
- Maintain accurate client and portfolio information within firm systems.
- Participate in business development and contribute to team initiatives that enhance the client experience and improve internal processes.
The responsibilities of this role will evolve as your knowledge, experience, and client relationships grow.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a foundation in financial services who is ready to deepen their knowledge and take on increasing responsibility in wealth management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 1–2+ years of relevant professional experience in wealth management, financial planning, investment management, banking, accounting, or a related financial services role
- Working knowledge of investments and financial planning concepts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with clients
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively within a collaborative team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families.
- Experience with a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), investment management firm, or broker/dealer.
- Series 65 preferred; Beacon Pointe will support and encourage continued professional development, including working toward the CFP® or another relevant professional designation.
