Senior Associate Wealth Advisor
Job Description
The Senior Associate Wealth Advisor (AWA) is a client-facing partner to Senior Wealth Advisors and serves as a key relationship and execution leader for a group of clients. This role operates with a high degree of independence and judgment, coordinating complex client service needs, investment-related workflows, and planning support across internal teams. This role is based in our Greensboro, NC office.
The Senior AWA elevates the client experience by anticipating needs, proactively driving deliverables, and serving as a trusted secondary point of contact. They manage complex service matters, contribute meaningfully to planning and investment discussions, and support business development efforts through strong preparation, responsiveness, and process discipline. This role will naturally progress to a full Wealth Advisor position within the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with and support Sr. Wealth Advisors on client relationships to best serve our clients.
- Build a working knowledge for all assigned clients and accurately manage client data across all systems.
- Ensure all client tasks, requests and communications are taken care of on a timely basis.
- Assist Wealth Advisors in client meeting prep, capture/summarize client notes and provide detailed follow-up directly to client.
- Gather client information and create or update planning projections.
- Assist clients with implementation of recommendations, working with CPAs, attorneys and other professionals.
- Perform various analysis (for example, education funding, stock options, insurance needs, etc.) and document and communicate recommendations.
- Partner with Client Service Team during client onboarding process and with custodian paperwork and money movement requests.
- Be back-up to Client Service Team on all custodian requests.
- Help develop tools and templates to assist with the efficient delivery of our service offering.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of financial services experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Ideal candidate has a CFP designation and their Series 65 License
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Personable, responsive and engaging with a client-first attitude
- Mature, self-starting professional willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and take direction from multiple parties.
- Strong computer skills including advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Comfort with using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.
- Salesforce, Schwab, Fidelity, Tamarac and eMONEY experience strongly desired but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
